Last time I talked to him about a 1.5 weeks ago, he put them back on his M6. But then he just updated the pics in his sig recently and it shows his stock wheels so I'm confused. haha
Tell me about it, I just saw them back on his ///M the other day....

Whatever happened to freed0m's old wheel you asked?
Well here they are parked along side the "Tail of the Dragon", plus some other shots.
Waiting for some bimmers to fly by on the ToD
at one of overlooks on Blue Ridge
Just washed so the dealer won't
They are just as advertised and I could not be more pleased. It was a great experience doing this transaction and everything was smooth including the installation. I do have to say though, that one BMW dealer nearly screwed up the whole deal. I had (and car now in surgery) very bad electronics issues on my trip to the ToD. I took to a dealer in Asheville, NC. Upon getting my car back a couple of hours later, almost immediately - within 1 mile - I had big vibration. Long storey short, all five bolts on left rear were loose. Then BMW assist sends someone even older than me. "Huh, how come my lug wrench doesn't fit" he asks. I knew I was in trouble. But all's well that ends well (for the wheels at least). I really could not test the wheels/tires on the ToD as every possible fault (DD, AS, ABS, FTM, DSC, and a slew more) was lit up so I limped around looking for video taping locations. Got some good videos and posted a couple on youtube

Thanks Alex, DRANGED and Sam. I had all three BMW SAs out looking over the wheels when I took in for electric issues. Even one of the receptionists in the service area came out to "oh and aw". Just a little weird was an EXACT exterior and interior color matching 645Ci sitting on a lift with the OEM 121s - my, how deja vu was that. I have to say mine looked much better.
