My Ride: BMW e60 530i
Default 16 with a BMW

Hey guys I'm 16. I'm huge car enthusiast and I know modifying e60s can be pretty pricy. I have a 2004 530i e60 with a little over 200k miles and I don't want to buy brand new coilovers since its around 2k for new ones and it wouldn't seem right to have new coilovers on a 200k mile car. I also don't want to buy cheap poor quality ebay coilovers. Birthday is coming up and will be getting some cash. Let me know if theres anything out there used and dirt cheap. thanks.

Cheap and good quality does not go together. If you want a good quality coilovers it will cost you. Even decently used ones go for 800-1000 bucks. Then add 300-400 for installation.

Why do you need coilovers? I know it is the cool thing to be able to tell your friends that you have coilovers but unless you are tracking a car there is no need for them. What you should consider is replacing your struts and bushings along with a set of performance springs.
What I am suggesting is that you do not fall into the 'mod trap' which is a waste of money, do your research. I drive a '04 525i with just over 89K miles and the only mods I will ever do is a set of sport springs and wheels/tires.

I am not trying to being an a$$ I am just offering some advice and another opinion.
