Description:

Construction is fiberglass core with two layers of carbon fibre on the exterior. The lip is hollow and very light weight.
Very durable and light-weight solution for a non-M/non m-tech pre-LCI car.
The finish has a great shine to it, especially if you take a couple of minutes to wipe it down with some MF cloth and put a light coat of carnuba wax on it. Looks great with CF/black kidneys - pics don't really do it justice.


Fitment:

Fitment is ok, but not first-class - minor issues though. When I was getting it installed, I had to look for a shop that could resolve the fitment issues adequately at a good price - which I found. Because of that, if you live in the NYC area and want to have the lip installed immediately, we can split the cost of removing it/re-installing on your car, which (I'm sure) will be a lot less than if I was to take it off at one place, give/ship it and you'd install it somewhere else. In other words, I do not anticipate any fitment issues with local buyers, but am willing to ship - as long as you understand that then fitment will be, well, your problem.

Condition:

The lip is in good condition. There are a couple of scuffs on the CF on the bottom-facing edges, which can be relatively easily repaired with a kit from carbonmods.com (would have to color match a bit, but it is so small, that even if its not color-matched, noone would ever be able to see it - plus the scuffs are practically on the underside of the lip, so they're not that visible in the first place.

Additional info:

- The lip is paintable, so if you'd rather paint it, it should not be an issue at all.

- In case anyone is interested why I'm selling, I've just finalized a deal on a kit, with which this lip is not compatible. Unfortunately.

- I've had two offers on it so far, but for various reasons the sales did not happen.

Price and payment options:

To local buyers - $150 picked up or dropped off within 50 miles from 11229, or $150 + shipping to anywhere in the United States and Canada if you're not local. This price is less than half of what I paid for it and is a real bargain, considering that you can have it installed for under $100 (or DIY if you're handy - I can help with some expertise gained from when I had it installed). Shipping it, however, is tricky and probably expensive - when I purchased it, I paid dearly for having it shipped from Asia.

Trade:

I'll consider trades as well - there are a few things I could use:

- spacers

- trunk and/or roof spoiler (depending on the brand/condition etc)

What do you guys think - is it the price? Why would the lip not sell? I am thinking if I don't get at least 150 for it, it just doesn't even make sense for me to sell - am I wrong?
