And its a RHD too. That means they've made more than one of these.

Another reviewer who thinks seemingly thinks that this is a Van Hooydonk and not a Bangle car... Do these idiots think that the car design is only finished the day before the car makes its debut? The F10 has, of course, been *years* in the making, and the design will, as it always is, have been finalized and approved a while back - and certainly while Bangle was still at the helm... The F10 (as with the 5GT) is still very much a product of the Bangle era - as will a few more BMW's to come... It will be a while before the first BMW totally realized under Van Hooydonk hits the streets.

fully agree with you. but I guess a scenario is also possible where:
- the Vorstand was not happy with the public's reaction to E65 and E60 back in 2001-03 and required from Bangle to lead a transition towards a more conservative look in the next 5 years
- Bangle knew (or decided ) this will be his last task in the company, and also knew his successor - Van Hooydonk.
- So the last 3-4 designs (F01, F07, F10 and the Z4, even E70?) were prepared within this conservative strategy under the leadership of both Bangle and VH...
- ...but maybe more along the ideas of VH, while Bangle ensured the smoothness of the transition and was "corrective" element in the work of a younger and probably not so experienced VH.
- I think Bangle should be fully capable of such a thing - the fact that he came up with those crazy designs in 01 and 03 does not make him unable to lead a team creating more conservative ones if that was his task from above.

I am just speculating of course, but I think such a case is possible, and in it VH would be the guy that is accountable for the F10 and F01.

In the sense not that he designed them single-handedly, but that they already carry a lot of his influence and we should not expect any radical changes in the coming years, just because he is now officially at the helm.

PS: I guess what I am trying to say is that anything is possible but we should keep the hope for more beautiful bimmers in the future as well
