There were something like 3000 BMW's, SAAB's and one other brand on board when the ship sank. All the cars were scrapped after 8 months underwater. I know some people, on another forum, who had taken European Delivery and then had there cars on board. That would be even worse then not having already taken delivery on the car.

Right. My wife's Volvo XC90 was on that ship. She had to wait another 8 weeks to get one.

My co-workers 3 Series was on that ship. Now he has a lemon of a 325that BMW won't replace!
