Any of you guys know how to download the episode from 31/07/05 please.
I can get the M5 episode that Goyk posted through Google but nothing else works for the 535d v 545i one.
Thanks in advance.

Yes the red is a very nice colour with the sport pack.
I would like to have seen the Stig drive a 535d against the 545i instead of JC. The Stig was concentrating on driving whilst JC was doing a tv show. Either way I was impressed how well the 535d almost kept up with the v8. Shame they didn't drive the 545i round the track - I would have been interested in the time. Still 2 very fine cars. Funny watching 2 four door saloons being driven like race cars

My Ride: '05 545i - scheduled for ED pickup in Munich on 7/22!

When both cars were on the track, it took the 535d about 3 seconds to cross the line after the 545i, so maybe we can estimate that the 545i's lap time would be 3 sec faster if the Stig had tested it....makes sense as the 645 was almost 4 seconds faster....
Top Gear Power Lap Times
645Ci 1:28
545i 1:28.8 ???
535d 1:31.8
M3 1:31.8
