Upon reading the Yahoo article, I noticed they excluded/didn't evaluate the Mercedes AMG line along with most exotics, yet they included the BMW M cars. Not quite fair, I'd say...

According to the EPA numbers, the MB E63 does actually emit less greenhouse gas than the M5.

Who really gives a crap? A damn volcano eruption emits more CO2 than all the world's cars do in 5 years.

Because "Going Green" is a vast industry that many corporations and businesses depend on. Those Companies simply didn't exist a few years ago and now what we have is this enormous movement that on the surface seems to be a good idea, but is riddled with faulty science and exudes the dogma of "the ends justify the means" so if they lie about how harmful cars are, if it gets you to "Go Green" then it didn't matter it was based on bullshit.
