Sth Gear on Run flats

Saw an older episode of Tiff Needell testing tyres yesterday. He did a lap in an E60 with 4 flat (they actually drilled holes through the sides!) Run flat tyres. Amazing stuff. No problems whatsoever at 100 mph I think it was and only a few seconds slower on the lap time. In comparison, he lasted a few hunderd yards on regular flat tyres..
I think I'll stick with them for now..

(Yeah, that's 5th gear, not Sth gear )

I got a flat over the weekend at 2AM and drove over 30 miles on it. Absolute zero pressure. I stopped and put air in the tire and I could hear it coming out faster than it was going in. Drove on LA freeways at about 60 mph and the tire did what it was supposed to do.
