Thanks for the composite graph, that really brings it home. I wonder what the difference would be in 0-60 times if both cars had the same final drive ratios.

The difference between the two cars is 243 pounds so I doubt they added another 243 to the back to balance it out. I think that the 8 cyl is probably a bit shorter than the 6 and therefore more of the weight is towards the middle of the car as opposed to the front
