Bu**er - I dont get Channel 5 (nothing worth watching on it anyway). You think that I could get a new telly Ariel fitted by Monday ?

Go satellite, Cable, or even one of these digital receivers that can use your ordinary aeriel (Cost ?50-100, may even be less now)- you'll be able to get channel 5 via one of these.

Yep - I think its time to sort things out. Will start by getting my ariel upgraded then I will be able to get Freeview Digital. Dont watch much telly so I dont want/need sky.

Unfortunately, we don't get the "current" 5th Gear episodes until two years later via Speedchannel, and then they're likely to be pre-empted by some kind of Nascar bullshit. Speedchannel= ALL NASCAR ALL THE TIME!

speaking of 5th gear .. did you see it this week?
they did a "prestige" test this week (prestige in Britain that is)

i'm struggling to remember the exact cars and results...
i think the cars were the following.

Lexus IS
BMW E90
VW Passat
MB C class
Jag X Type
Audi A4

All I remember was that Passat came last. E90 came "3rd" , MB 2nd , and the Jag came out on top!!!!!

who the hell voted the X type the most prestige of these lot??????????????
who thinks that a car with fords switches is prestige?

Just watched the programme -- Tiff Needell was full of superlatives about the car

Here's a few comments from Tiff about the e60 M5

"One of the greatest cars in the world"
"On of the all time greatest engines"
"great car!" smiles ++, & drifting round a circuit.

507 BHP - Is that enough?

Want one? He does, he couldn't stop smiling throughout the report!

Order one today (in UK) & you'll have to wait for delivery until Mid 2007
Yes the waiting list is that long!

Good one Tiff!
