The Autumn/Winter BMW magazine (UK) has this article:-
"In a major contract from the USA, Carbon Motors Corporation has placed an order for 240,000 BMW DIESEL ENGINES, complete with automatic transmissions.The six-cylinder in-line engines will be used in a unique purpose-built police car, which the company has developed and equipped specially for law enforcement services.The extremely efficient engines will allow police departments to cut their fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 40%."

It has a front grill badge similar to the Renault badge! That has got to go!
