Other mags wrote about the same event - but many did not get to drive the 550i because some dopey journalist crashed it.

This guy from Road & Track was a passenger in the 550i when it flipped.

Thanks for the R&T link. Yeah, the event was the same one that the autospies did as well. From a marketing standpoint, I think it's genius that BMW staged a journalist rally over multiple days instead of the usual press events...
