The BMW brand, including Mini, saw its average U.S. vehicle transaction price rise more than any other nameplate from the first quarter of 2005 to Q1 2006. BMW's average price in Q1 '06 is now $46,172, up more than $3,000 over the same period last year.
The next closest brand increases are Hyundai (+6.4%) and DaimlerChrysler (+2.9%). The U.S. average increase across all nameplates was 2.3%.
