I like the line, "If you are looking for the top sport sedan, the BMW is your top choice."

But what was with the comment about all the squeaks and rattles?

I think if you've used a pc, you should be able to use the i-drive. It's nowhere near as complex as it's made out to be. Having not ordered voice recog., i think it only taked getting used to before you just know where to click.

Nice link! I would have to agree about driving the 545 step around town. I thought it was just me but it doesn't really like that area around 30 mph. I find it a little better using the sport mode because it holds the rpms up a bit.

With my 530 I find it amazing that it is in 6th gear at 50km/h. I have no trouble with it. I have to say Andy545 told me that the 545 uses a different steptronic (the one from the 7 series) then the 530 and lower engines have.

I would have trouble with it. It is so annoying to have the engine draggy at this spped in 6th. The habit now is to shift it to DS most of the time - hate the irresposive feeling.
