JD Power's Automotive Performance Execution and Layout (APEAL) study is out today. BMW ranks #2 among 37 brands measured. 
The 5-series ties for second in the Midsize Premium segment:
Midsize Premium Car
Highest Ranked: Infiniti M-Series
Audi A6 (tie)
BMW 5 Series (tie)
Lexus GS 300/GS 430 (tie)
