If you aren't familiar with BMW's Art Cars (there are 16 of them already and they have been exhibited at museums around the world including the Louvre), you should be.

Four Art Cars by American artists Frank Stella, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Robert Rauschenberg just returned to New York City after a 16-year absence and are parked in midtown inside Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal. The Art Cars are accompanied by a new work of art, Expressions of Joy, created by Robin Rhode, who used a Z4 as his paintbrush.

I was at the opening Tuesday and I saw the original exhibits in 1990 (and in 1986) at the BMW Gallery at 320 Park Avenue.

If you are regularly in the New York area, you should make an effort to go to the exhibit; if you are planning a visit, this is a must-see, and if you are a BMW enthusiast not in the New York metro area, perhaps you should plan a trip! http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/ima.../aim-angel.gif
