2,067 BMW E60s were sold in the U.S. during Arpil, and while this is down 52% in sales from the same month last year, this year's monthly total is still nearly double the sales of the Audi A6 and Jaguar XF ... combined. Not too shabby for an old girl.
What's Hot
Infiniti M (+175% from the same month last year)
Audi A5 (+171%)
MB E-Class (+99%)
BMW 7 series (+96%)
Land Rover RR Sport (+53%)
Toyota Prius (+50%)
BMW 3 series (+45%)
Honda Accord Crosstour (2,455 units)

Smart ForTwo (-49%)
Jaguar XF (-46%)
Porsche 911 (-42%)
Nissan GT-R (-38%)
Chevrolet Corvette (-23%)

... and look at the number of 5GTs sold. How long before BMW realizes it was a waste of money to develop it in the first place? Even if they don't sell many 5 Sport Wagons in the U.S. at least it's a model that's already developed and sold.

Saw my first GT on the road yesterday (in the Holland Tunnel). I just can't warm to its looks. However, the superbright AEs were nice. Really no need to upgrade them. But all in all, the vehicle looked as hideous and ungainly to me on the road as it did in the dealership.
