What has this guy have against BMW and especially the 535i? I don't know how to post the link to:
"TTAC Takes the BMW 535i For a Spin"

Give them a "boat ride" MB with 167 buttons on dashboard and they'll be happy then.
Thankfully, they'll never buy a BMW.

He says you can circumvent I-drive on this model-this is not true is it-I-drive is not an option correct?
One quote hit home for me though-and I actually like the feel of the new tranny and how it works but agree with the following:
"What?s this? Martians have stolen the 535i?s transmission lever and left behind a replica of their sex organs."

First of all, the author would benefit from an editor to correct his spelling and word usage. Secondly, many of his comments are directed at all 5-series cars, styling, interior trim, etc. Those are opinions, and simply a matter of taste. Thirdly, I find this author, and his review, to be extremely arrogant. He is accusing others of being "wrong" for having different opinions from his own. I question his agenda.
I find mine to be well balanced, refined, and competent at all speeds, but I suggest you drive a 535i and make up your own mind.

Too bad he has such and "axe to grind" against BMW in general...really destroys any credibility that article might have had. He seems to be forgetting that BMW's are not meant to be like Lexus...but are more of a "driver's car". Either he doesn't understand this concept or he doesn't agree with it.

This is an old article, back from June; however the TTAC site is overladen with reviewers who seem to hate cars generally. I used to read theTTAC site regularily, but got tired of them bashing everything they drove.
These ppl have serious mental problems IMO.
