My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
I keep seeing 545 Steptronics being tested by magazines because the competition only offer auto's. Anyone see a 545 SMG 0-60 test in a magazine?

You know, pennetta, I find that running in Sport at high rpms is a pretty swift shift and with absolutely none of the stress from fear of missing the slot. 
A stick can be embarrassing, too, if you are going for third in a speed shift and hit fifth.
