It's a super Diesel, but we, E60 owners, could get about the same performance with a chip upgrade done under BMW warranty.
0-62mph in 6.8 seconds with ACS upgrade.

It is more expensive, however, it includes over 3000 euro in options as standard.

Seems like a bargain to me

I think they made a mistake on one of the figures: 2200rpm @ 70mph

The 530d is at approx 1600rpm @ 70mph in the 530d.

I have just received a call from my dealer telling me that the 535D will be available to order from them on Monday and do i want to order one. I think so.

Did he offer an anticipated delivery schedule, mfg. date or anything?

He will not find out the full details until Monday.I should imagine it will be a normal build time of 9-12 weeks as the car is being officially released.Will keep you posted.
