Hi Just got off phone from my local stealer, my wife has an X5 3.0SE fully loaded 2007 (May), ?47500 new, trade in now ?34k.

We orginally decided to not have the seven seat option, just thought I would consider a new one with seven seats.

The SE spec suits us as the alloys are wife proof and I like the running boards.

Reason for drop in price from stealer was
  1. CO 2 now lower on post Oct 07 cars
  2. Oversupply
  3. and Sports model out
I just give up, I remember predicting this last year, but failed to take my own blood advice.

I will just pick one up second hand, but with such choice and variety of used X5s (over 100 available on Web) I may just keep the one I have for four years, and wait for the LCI.

This the sub prime of motors

That is why I will never buy new. Only CPO.
I just picked up a $78K 645i for $36K. 27K miles and clean as new. Why buy new?

Yep. Its the market. That 545i that I bought two weeks ago was also a great deal for $28K. 05, CPO through 10/2011! 38K miles and loaded.
Plus BMW financed it @2.9% and 2 first payments are on BMW FS. Its a buyers market right now.

It's nice to drive a brand new luxury sedan with a engine that is running on fumes...
