What happend to the "E62"?

My Ride: F11 -14
E60 - 5-series sedan
E61 - 5 series touring
E63 - 6 series coupe
E64 - 6 series cabriolet/convertible
E65 is another matter...
But, what happend to the E62? BMW doesn't just skip model codes, I presume, so there must have been some kind of project...? Or?

They don't need to produce other cars to complete the list of the numbers
Otherwise they should have dozens of car in production, between the E46 and the E90
