I don't think so...been hard to find pricing for the M3vert - but what I seem to see is the M3 vert is in the $65 - $68K range....
I didn't say M3 convertible.

Screw the drop-top. ~$60k for a non-M 3series is just crazy.

M3 E90 - $53,800

M3 E92 - $56,500

You could get a pre-owned 650i vert for around $60k.

I didn't say M3 convertible. I did - that's thewhole point in trading (for me anyways)

M3 E90 - $53,800 I just visited 4 BMW dealers here in SoCal and there wasn't an M3 Coupe or Sedan anywhere near that price. More like $62 - $70K..your $54K must be the starting price w/o options or packages?

M3 E92 - $56,500

You could get a pre-owned 650i vert for around $60k. Don't care for the 650i (see above post)

I had the same feelings about the 650i/cab................until I started the engine and drove it , for sake of comparison you should consider a test drive ................mmmmmm V8 ......... , you know , just for a balanced perspective , very very seductive car !!

You can also just order one and pick your options. There are many dealers selling at msrp and I have even seen some deals below msrp on M3post. You can easily get a well optioned M3 sedan for ~$60k.

At the SLO meet I had the privilege of riding shotgun in blackonblackonblack's new 335, with My530i at the wheel, and it's an absolute beauty. Incredibly quick, incredibly beautiful, wonderful soundtrack and solid as a rock. Great car!!

You'd probably have to order it as all the M3's I checked out (both coupe and sedan) were fully loaded...trouble is I want it all too , the technology package, Cold weather, Premium Pkg. etc...if I go this route I'm going all the way I have a dealer preparing a price summary for me on a loaded M3 convertible and trading my '08 535i...I'll post the numbers when I get them. I do have to admit it's a tough decision as I really like my 535i but just saw my GT500 vert trailered away for sale and have the itch to replace the vert. Thought getting a BMW vert (M3) would satisfy both needs in one car

more to come...

Have to admit - I enjoyed the 335i that I test drove last weekend as well! Thanks for the feedback! Does anyone know if there is a limit on the number of M3 verts that BMW will produce - or will they build all they can sell

Make sure you tell him you have seen deals below msrp. Just read a couple deals posted on M3post.com. One person got $1,500 off msrp, another $2,000 off msrp.

But you might have trouble getting a deal on the M3 convertible, since it hasn't hit the showrooms.

Do you know what the msrp is on the M3 vert?

Get one of each ... I added the '98 Z3 to the weekend driver role 10 years ago.

It fit the bill when the 5 or 7 wasn't necessary AND the weather was just right. And, 10 years ago it was the best $42K I ever spent. In today's dollars, given the extra performance and features, a nicely optioned 335 convertible sounds like a bargain!

Stop procrastinating You only go around once!

JB thanks, I did see those threads over at M3post...this is the same dealer where I know the owner and he gave me the 535i at 700 over invoice...now I don't expect anywhere near that level of discount, but am hoping he can do something - or go high on the trade - it's all about difference anyway.

It has been a bit tough trying to figure out the MSRP on a loaded M3 vert. Best I got was add $8K to the M3 coupe (for the vert) and then add options. I'm thinking fully loaded is going to be in the $72K - $76K range - but am not sure of that guess.
