Question

I've seen a few Aplina's around here still looking for that B5! I'm starting to think their all in europe =(

Funny thing is I see lambo's or ferrari's all the time, and the second I see something like an Aplina I had to take a picture.

And in case you guys don't know what an Alpina is... It will take a stock M5/M6 owner a run for his money.

Even despite the Alpina B7's curb weight of 4703 pounds! It's 11.5 PSI supercharged engine propels this car with some serious force.

BMW Alpina B7
Power/torque 500 hp/516 lb-ft
0-60 mph 4.5 sec
0-100 mph 10.4 sec
Quarter mile 12.8 sec @ 110.9 mph
Braking, 60-0 mph 111 ft

It's basically a 7 series on steroids!

it's a really nice car, but i always thought of the 7 series being more luxurious than sporty

I've seen tests of M5 vs B5 but never the B7. I'd be shocked if the B7 could stand up to the M5 on a track, just purely based upon weight. Either way, lovely car though. I had my heart set on a B5s .

Stupid economy.
