Not sure if guys have seen this already.

I figure if they only made 10 editions of this one it'll be worth quite a bit in later years if not when they auction them off.

- this is the plant near Pretoria, ZA, which IIRC produces ONLY E30 3er, not E46. Although I am not so sure about this and where I recall it from.

This is the Muenchen plant which produces E46 3er for European and US markets.

The 3er produced in ZA is of course E46, I don't know what I was remembering.
However, this is for ZA market (1/4) an probably the rest for Asian markets. US and European 3ers are assembled in Muenchen plant.

BIG IPAQ, I slept very well last night; thank you. I am driving an ED46 sedan - 320I. I am 100% sure it was assembled in SA. In fact even the 330 coupes here are from South Africa.
Hope YOU will sleep well tonight.

Are you sure then that you've read my replies above??!?
My initial remark was related to your statement: "All E46 are manufactured in S Africa. The Ms are made in Germany."
wich is obviously false. All sold in Singapore probably you wanted to say... Right? But this world is a tad bigger than the little red dot you mention.
Anyway, it is good to know we both sleep well.

The E46s for Europe are made in Germany. I've had 2 E46sand both were German made. South Africa may make E46s but not for European market. China are now making E46s and E60s, most probably for China and asian market.
I know for sure all Mercedes C-Classes (in particular right-hand drive versions) are made in South Africa.
