Black, red interior. Looked nice, but I wish I had been able to sit in it. The M3 was up on blocks too...

Are you very large? I'm 190cm tall and I've no problems to fit in our 1-series.

I have no doubt that I will fit... but that doesn't mean that the proximity of the rest of the interior or its passengers won't feel too closed or cramped. Definitely a car I'd want to sit in first...

I mean, I -fit- in a Lotus Elise. It's still the biggest pain in the ass car I have ever been in.

If you look at the specs on BMW US site, the front head/shoulder room is only a 1/2 inch less than a 335i coupe, the rear head/shoulder room is larger than a 335i coupe. Not to mention the front seats in the 1er are straight out of a 3-series. A lot of people are trying out the fit in a 335i coupe, to see if they can handle the 1er. 335i coupe rear passengers will have more rear leg room.
