The Swedish version of Auto Motor & Sport writes about the new X6 sports SUV coming up next year.
It may have a 8 speed autogearbox made by ZF with start-stop function
and a 4.8 litre V8 with turbo giving some +410 hp.

The gap b/w 530 and 545 was 100hp. Now 535 is 300, so 550 should be 400hp.
Should it be 4.0L or 4.8L V8 turbo? It shouldn't be 4.8L. Otherwise, remap will make it closed to 500hp

anyone else wondering what the point of the X6 is........
No point what so ever.
4,5 sec 0 - 60 on dirt and snow.
But it will be the first really sporty SUV on the market.
I'm sure some will just love it!

BMW need to put diesel in to X series, I 'd consider replacing my X5 then.
BTW, the year BMW put out V8 bi-turbo on 5ers is the year people need to ask "do I need an M5".
Please note that M5 is not like M3, it's a 4-door sedan that is big for auto-crossing. I can see how 335i even with Procede won't completely replace M3.
