Okay, since I work at a dealership, I get great deals on parts. The problem is that I can't stop buying BMW Miniatures. For those of you who are inexperienced or have maybe seen a few packaged at Toys R Us, there is a HUGE difference. Real BMW Miniature models are virtual exact replicas of the cars, many with working seat belts, real carpeting, leather upholstery and detailed engine compartments. The 1:18 is the most popular size and what I cannot stop myself from buying. So far, in little over a month I have purchased 2 Art Cars, both of which come in plastic display cases; one by Frank Stella and the other by Sandro Chia. I have also purchased a blue 3.0 CSI, blue 750il, black E46 M3 convertible, silver 2002ti and a white 507 convertible. This is highly addicting and I caution anyone to consider their purchase carefully. At between $70-$145 each, it's not a cheap endeavor. I guess that it's cheaper then crack but no less addictive.

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
Going to be hard to talk you out of it, I have quite a collection myself, mostly 1:18 scale and occupies 3 bookcases in my home office (all in cases or my sons would tear them apart). Just remember, it's better than crack

Your right, it ain't cheap.........
I have spent around 3k in total on models, and I too have to stop lol, not all my models on show here !
Wish I had bloody started with 1/43 scale instead, much simpler and many more to choose from !
