I'm still grinning, this SAV is very close to my 550 in many ways; almost as much power, great road feel and handles like, a BMW. I loved my 04 X5, but this car is very different. We got the 4.8 so it has much more power than the 04 had, but its more than just power, its more refined. BMW has really taken this SAV to the next level. I keep you posted, but at least for now, no reservations about what I just spent for this car. :D

Congrats.. keep us posted.

I'll likely upgrade my X5 next June, the E70 is on the shortlist. I may holdout for th new E72 (X6) depending on how it looks when finally revealed.

I saw an X5 4.8 about a month ago and it was very nice indeed .. Nice chromed parts etc.
