Get the X5 if you need to haul 7 people or room for more cargo. Keep the E60 because you want a nice sedan.
Be cautious of the X5 in it's first year of production. It's bound to have more problems than the E60 that's already been around for a few years. Plus, all things being equal the E60 is going to be a higher quality car. At least that was my experience with the E39 and E53.
That said I might be in the market for the X5 in about 18 months for it's seven seats. But I'm also keeping the E60.

Unless you really need the room, its an easy decision - keep the 5.
Although I like the looks of the new X5, there are absolutely no advantages over the 5, beyond space and AWD. Plus you get horrible mileage and handling, not to mention the first year problems that will surely exist. I know the feeling of wanting the latest thing, but rationally, getting an X5 can not be justified.
Let us know your decision!

Thank You Guys for the suggestions. I think u guys are absolutely rite and I'll keep my e60 for now. Considering about the problem that X5 will have because of the first year production. Maybe I'll buy the X5 in 2008. I dont have any kids now so I think I dont need a big car. and we rarely got snow in western washington.
