My Ride: 2009 550i sports, Nav, logic Best E60 yet
2004 545i, sports pkg, logic 7 steptronic, rear shade,orient blue with beige interior, blue tooth enabled Razer Phone. 2004 X5 3.0, sports pkg, stepronic, summer pkg. imola red.
2006 Mini Cooper S, manual, sports, prem pkg, nav and kitchen sink.
My 2004 X5 Imola Red 3.0 is about to be retired, she's been a great car; slow but excellent. Our new X5 will be the 4.8 in Safire Black, thats my wifes choice. Anyway, it has sports,premium,technology pkg,comfort seats w/ventilation. rear a/c, running boards and i-pod adapter. This beast clocked in about 4 grand more than my 550. These cars just get more and more expensive. I really wanted a few other options but had to say NO MAS.
If you haven't driven one of these super SUV, you must give it run, this is one cool ride. Dealer says I might make July production, OH boy another new Bimmer. Lot's more later.

congrats on your order man. my uncle has an X5 and it feels good just riding in it. and at the dealer, talking to one of the technicians i know, we came across an X5 in the back and all he said was that it's the only bmw with no common problem at all. enjoy it once you get it.

This is a great ride ! I have a feeling that you will have trouble deciding which one to drive daily. The wider stance and sports package make this an awesome driver . Did you get the 20 " wheels with fender flares ? This MAKES the total thing work .

BMW MY -08 will give the 3.0sd

The new E70 is much more refined than our existing X5, I was very,very impressed how much better the new X5 drives, most important is that we robbed the bank and went for the 4.8 instead of the 3.0. This is a heavy car and although the new 6 has more power, it's still underpowered. When it arrives and have spent some time in it I'll post additional info.
