They have already finalised the options. No SMG or ZSG on the list, only 6 speed manual.
On the option list was EDC and MDrive!? Should have been standard, don?t you think?

Some rumours say 420 BHP, some say 440BHP...
If its 440 then that thing is murdering the m6 and z06

Other V8 cars come to mind:
F430 = 490HP
CLS AMG 63 = 516HP

My dealer showed me his ordering sheet for the M3. The HEA ( firts dealer supply cars ) will be out in late summer, according to him. They have already finalised the options. No SMG or ZSG on the list, only 6 speed manual.

This will depend on what you're looking for in your next car.
You will get more bang for your buck in the GT-R and the money you spend on aftermarket tuning (if you're into that at all) will yield greater performance gains with the GT-R.
It's difficult to say with any degree of certainty since there are no official specs released for either car, but I would be willing to bet the GT-R will best the M3 in almost every performance category. We'll have to wait and see.

That would be something special for sure. A normally aspirated street car with a V8 producing 440 ponies.
Other V8 cars come to mind:
F430 = 490HP
CLS AMG 63 = 516HP

I for one think they will underrate it at 420bhp and may very well pump out for real between 420-440 bhp. They just have to, if they want to trash the RS4 not only in the twisties

I dislike:
- HUGE power dome. It looks like a bump you get on your forehead. These photos make the power dome appear too high at the front part of it.
- sideview mirrors. Still prefer the two-tone version on the M5/6.
- rear diffuser. I would have preferred a rear diffuser either between or below the quad exhausts. Not above them.
- accelerator, brake, and clutch pedals. These don't look befitting for this type of car. In fact, they look exactly like the one in my 5 series. Why did they change only the foot rest (dead pedal)?

The interior including the pedals will look better on the production car, I am sure. I really like the E92's looks. However, I don't like the cheesy hood design with the air vents and a large power dome. It just looks too ricey for my taste. The E46 M3 was and is spectacular looking so my expectations may be too high on this one.

Sounds like the only complaint is the hood... that'll be an easy fix for BMW... thats why this is still a concept... they'll getting all the feedback and then implementing it during the face lift... ya facelift not during into... so then they can get MORE sales HAHAHAHHA.
