Today the 1 series was presented to the public on German BMW dealerships.
I had a little test drive and this car is cool.
Just a little tight for tall persons in the rear, but the drive is amazing (compared to Golf or other compacts).

 

Didn't get a chance to go today but will tomorrow. The wife now has a little interest in it.

 

She will love it!
My wife was mad at me when I called her and told her I just test drove it - she wants to drive it too...
I was just bored in between the two practices we had today, and the football camp is just about two minutes away from my dealer, so I decided to check it out.
It's really fun!!

Went and checked it out today. Not too bad for a small car.
One more thing that should have been done on the five that the 1er has is the trunk opens from the Roundel. I could not find the trunk release but the Roundel looked a little big. Pressed it in and BINGO I am in the back. The i_drive only comes if you get NAV. I like the flip top screen. If you do not want it , you close it.

Good little car, wonder when they will sell it in the states?

 

I wonder IF they sell it in the States!?!
I also like the start engine button. And you can get the keyless go function for 600 Euro, so the car unlocks itself when you walk up to it... (like the 7series)...
