My Ride: On Order, due in May - 2007MY 530D SE, Silver Grey, Black Dakota, Auto, Brushed aluminium shadowline,sports seats / wheel, hi fi speakers, mats, space saver wheel and a few more bits
After 10 Months of my E60 530D I went mad and got this!! (same price - 2005, 6K miles E46M3)
Seats my 8 & 10 yr old kids, seats 5 if needed, decent boot, comfy and not too harsh a ride,32mpg when going soft, 343hp, 4.8 to 60mph and 160+, been on track (beefed up brake pads).
Still miss the 530D though as I really love the diesel pull and torque - much less embarrasing than going to 8K rpm in the M3!!!
I am looking at the E60 M5 as an ultimate car
Anyoune else gone E60 - M3?

My 2004 E46 320d m-sport had a short shifter. Why don't they fit the short-shifter to the M3? Would seem like a logical option for the car
