Here ya go, a few pictures taken from my cell cause I was too lazy to get the camera, but I think they look amazing!

I want to thank Joe @ Trinity Autosport for helping me with the wheels. He was on top of my wheels and they came even sooner then I expected and also Chris who helped me with tire size and brand selection. You guys rocked and I want to thank you!
Tire size is 255/30 and 285/30 on Hankook V12's.

Are the BBS LM's that bad and bet bends easily?

Nah, the wheels themselves are really high quality and solid. The problem is the roads where Mel lives. They'll bend even the strongest wheels, especially 20inch.

Her wheels are much stronger than my cheap VMR cast wheels, but the roads down here are much better :D

its okay, a little rougher on bumps, It reminds me of the 550 because the tire in the front was a 30, so I always felt it more, but on the M3 oddly they give you a 35, so its even smoother... Then I went back to a 30 on a taller wheel.. So a little rougher, but nothing major. I go slow so everyone can not get whiplash anyway..   lol

seriously, thanks for all the compliments guys! I really appreciate all the kind words. Ive had so much help here over the years and learned so much as well. Its like school for E60's and then you move on from there, lmao!

edit again, now whos going to change my signature? lol

Nolan222 05-05-2011 07:06 AM

Congrats Mel! The car looks so clean with LM's!

C's Bimmer 05-05-2011 08:20 AM

Mel - You're running 30 profiles all the way around? Any reason why?

melimel 05-06-2011 05:06 AM

I tried 35 in the front for more protection, but I rubbed. So 30's all around was way to go without getting any thinner...25's are completely out of the question for me IMO.. I drive my car way too friggen much to go any thinner then that. Why do you think I should have gone with a different size?

Nope. If the car rides perfect, then stick with what works. And I agree, 25's are pushing it in NYC, which is why I do 35/30's on my 20's. Love those wheels -- they are a timeless classic. Hope you and Joe are well and I get to see you guys soon...and the car, of course. :)

poleposition 05-06-2011 05:29 PM

Great choice Mel. I've been waiting for this thread. Looks awesome. I bet your so stoked. Are you and Joe going to Rallye on Sunday?

we actually tried 35's and 30's instead of 30 all around. But it rubbed alot. Lol. So Im sending those tires back.

Stoked isnt the word Kerry. And we would love to, but I think its this Sunday the 15th and I have a birthday party. And there is another one the 22nd, but I also have a baptism.. My damm weekends are booking up its making me sick. Lol. Id love to gt to some meet, rather then a drive. Im not fucking up these wheels acting like a retard. Ill save that for my zcp wheels anyway. Lol
