Welcome back mate and congrats on the new car

Nice colour combo -- hope you like the red interior this time! What's the drive like after your Active Steering E61... standard steering E60... E90 m-sport... and now the X6?

Have a great holiday!

ps. what car are you getting next?
Hi Pete,

thank you for the warm word!

Here is a quick report on what i think of the x6. I would say mixed feelings:

http://www.motor-talk.de/forum/endlich-ent...=4#post21197900

what is next on the menu? well remember - prior to the x6, it was going to be an a5. decided against it because of hte lack of space. well the a5 sportback just came out...

greetinz from austin

ps. just drove 1700 miles in 34 hours nonstop from san francisco to austin... what a experience driving here in the US (compared to teh autobahn that i am used to)....

Very nice. I really like the interior color (Chateu Leather). Is that the black flywheel aluminium interior trim or CF trims? In any case, they come out very good.
it is indeed flywheel aluminium interior trim - not as sexy as the leather carbon trim from the m3 or the new x6 m but definitely a nice option after years of aluminium trims...

The first thing you should do on that X6 is get the larger, OEM wheels. I'm not a huge fan of the X6, but the upgraded wheels definitely help draw your eyes away from the ugly lines of the car.

+1

C is only telling the truth. It is not exactly the best looking car.

I drive by my neighbors white X6 everyday, it has yet to grow me. I don't think it will.
