Any Z4 owners out there? Just ordered mine today while picking up my 545 from service (BT + Aux In now complete). I had a service loaner and just had a blast in it. Think it will make a great 3rd car for a little weekend enjoyment when the weather's just right.
Went with 3.0 (SP - SMG of course, PP, heated seats, xenon) in Maldives blue w/blk top and blk prem leather interior. Wondering if it would look better outfitted in beige rather than black, but then again I'm not much of a beige person (on a car at least)

My Ride: E90 M3
Model Year: 2011
Sweet! I'd love to get one, but at this stage of my life, with two small kids, can't quite justify that expense for a fun third car. Some day!! My dad is taking delivery of his at the end of the month. Finally stepping up from the old Z3 he's had for years. Same as yours but his red, can't remember the exact color, but kind a wine color. Enjoy the new wheels!

Woooo what options??? SMG? 3.0?
I guess it was VERY VERY worth it for the dealer to give you a Z4 for a loaner...

I've had a 3.0 Z4 since launch day in the UK (June 18th 2003). I'm in the process of selling it and replacing it with a Porsche 997 Carrera.
The Z4 is a great car and you will get the nicer looking clear indicators on the headlamps with the latest model. My only complaint with the car is that the ride on 18" alloys with the runflats is pretty harsh. The 18" wheels look great and fill out the arches but you pay the price in comfort.
Have you ordered the sports seats? From other Z4 forums I believe these are worth every penny and are much better than the standard seats which are a bit flat and unsupportive.

I was on the verge of ordering a Z4 right up until I test drove my Z06.
Go test drive one and you'll see why. Look around the internet and see what kind of deal can be made on the '04. If you can find one you'll probably get 10-15k off MSRP. Best thing you can do with your clothes on.
Just my .02
