i, myself have noticed that their style is ahead of it's time. the style doesn't grow on you until later. until eventually most car manufacturers have copied their style. you can actually see some design aspects toyota had taken from our e60's and implemented it in their camry and also same goes for the new honda accord.

Absolutely agree. I remember when BMW first introduced the X5 I thought 'that thing looks terrible' but the design was just so fresh and new and nothing else really looked like it. Now (and have for a while), I love the look of that original X5. I think the same was true for the E60 for me. I was not blown away by the design initially, now I think it is one of the most stunning cars on the road.

i love what they did with the x6, they made an suv absolutely sport minded, and gave it an aggressive look, not the mention a twin turbo v-8
