how is a mini cooper S's oil change 250-300$ a pop

My Ride: 08 Porsche 911 c2s, 01 BMW 740il, 05 BMW 525i, 06 Acura TSX navi
did i miss something?
I remember oil change being 19.99$ and high end cars were like 60-70$, pushing 100$.
Then came 2005, I bought a Porsche Cayenne S. Took it for oil change it was 300$.
I was like what the fack? ok, it was a porsche - so i swallowed the pill.
Then the 740il, synthetic is 150$. understandable.
Today strolling bmw dealership, i see mini section- oil change 200-250$.
I mean like what the hell??? Did price of everything 4x in the last few years???
I am in price shock with a lot of things lately....This was never the case before.
I am starting to sound like my parents. Back in the days, it was only this much bla bla bla.

They use the same stuff as outside so I always say why pay more for the same product.
oil change in HK for the E60 is about $144us for 7L of Mobil1 engine oil and oil fillter and laber.

Next time tell them to go F*&k themselves. Buy the oil and filter and have a local shop change it for you. That's what I do with my E60, it costs me $55 for the oil and filter and a local shop charges me $25 for the labor. total $80
