My Ride: 2007 Sapphire Black Metallic 525i. Beige Dakota Leather, Premium package, bluetooth, BMW Assist, Xenon adaptive lights, Sirius radio
Miss my 5 series !!!!!
The dash in the 328 looks like something from an old Dodge Polaris.
Getting Sirius installed. They should bring my car to me tomorrow and take the loaner home.

My Ride: E46 330, E60 550 on order: Carbon Black/Natural Brown, 6MT.
I too have a 335xi loaner in my garage right now, and I'm quite pleased with the interior, except that the color is not to my taste.
The 335 is certainly a fun car. It's the most time I've spent in an E90, and I'm quite impressed with the interior room compared to the E46. The E60 isn't much larger on the inside, except for a bit of width. Perhaps I can lure my wife out of her X3 at the end of her lease.
However, I will not be disappointed when I get my V8 back, with four fresh camshaft position sensors.
The automatic was more of a mixed bag. While I couldn't find too many faults with it, it certainly isn't tempting me to give up my extra pedal. The shifts were very crisp and quick, but downshifting while braking was a jarring experience at times. I guess I expected more after all the glowing reviews.

You should probably start by asking the dealer what their policy is. Once you learn that, you can determine if you're getting a bum deal or not. If you're unhappy about the policy, shop around to other dealers and see if they have a loaner policy that you prefer...

Had a 328xi loaner and loved it. Fun to drive. Great in the city. Handling reminded me of a Honda Prelude I used to own. In some ways enjoyed driving it more than my 5.

I completely agree.
My brother-in-law just got a new E90 335i. I think the interior actually looks better than my 5-series.
