In Europe (at least)it is a a light package option.

Very nice car, especially interior luxury What we are missing in e60

Iceman is right, in the US the lighted sills are standard.

I tried to list all my options in my signature. Since some things are standard in the 6er (again US Spec) while not in the E60 series I even included those where I thought it might help explain an issue or feature I was talking about.

He is in the US, just as EBMCS03... That's why I forgot to say it's standard in the US, but not in EU...

Wow, they ordered a 645 for their showroom without the light package?
That's just like my dealer, who ordered a 545 without nav (not even business nav) and now has to retrofit it because nobody wants to buy a car in this price range without nav...

They first could not understand how it cud have it......OH MY OH MY... those specialists....

They even tried to explain it that for security on the demonstartion car it is probably disabled....
