Refers to the controls accessible to the driver to operate the front passenger seat to assist passenger entry/exit/seating comfort. Lexus LS has had "the gentleman's function" since as early as 2000.

The driver can operate the front passenger seat controls for the comfort of the front or rear passenger.

My favorite scenarios for the Gentleman's Function:
1) Recline the seat-back for a companion starting to fall asleep
-or-
2) Open door for companion's entry, get seated in driver position, reach over for companion's seat-belt to secure buckle (wink), adjust seat for companion's comfort. What a gentleman! :)

Does it involve Lubricant??? :huh: :devil: :lol:

I just had an idea for the airbags in this new model designed for us guys..... :P
