Hi guys,

i am considering moving on from my 530d and try out the 335d. i will be hitting 30 in a year, so i guess this is my first and last chance to have a 2 door car before we get all serious with family and kids

so here is my choice: 335d in alpine white with m packet. Here is pic:

What I am unsure about is whether to go for Coral Red or Saddle Brown??

here Coral red:

and here a pic of saddle brown:

I would love to go for coral red, but i am scared it is too flashy, and i would be sick and tired of it in year 2. even my car dealer is tell me this. Black is a no go for me, so honestly speaking i am stuck with this choice.. i have seen live today: after seeing red, saddle brown seems really boring... what you guys think??? i really dont want to look like the "prolet" from the neighbourhood..

I like the brown, but I'm being biased.

I would choose Saddle Brown. It looks really great in person!

Coral Red is nice when you first see it, but you will tend to get bored of the color after you own the car. It happened to me when i chose red interior for my 6er (the color is a little diff to Coral Red though).

Hit it right on the nose! Just like the Hummer IMO, the novelty will wear off.

guys - thanks for your inputs. that is exactly what i am worried about. in a year or 2 i am going to freak out with this flashy red.

this time i plan to keep the car for atleast 3-4 years, because otherwise the depreciation is terrible and i just can not afford paying another 30k to buy a new car then. today i would get 29k EUR for my car that was EUR 72k 2,5 years ago and has 39k km. i was shocked when my dealer told me that is how much he could offer me if i traded it in for the 335d...

I would choose the brown, but either way you can't go wrong with a white 335 coupe.

i have done it this morning at 8:30. ordered a white with M-Packet with coral red and Pianolack.... reducing the interior from three colours (alu, black, red) to only 2 (black, black, red) gave me a bit more confidence to order the car. the individual colour was just slightly darker than the red but really did not justify the extra EUR 2k....

still can't believe i am paying this much money for a smaller car (compared to what i have today) but hey i am going to enjoy the torque off every traffic light here in vienna

thanks...
