Cool? or Borrrrring?

I uploaded it to here...

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4TJPV32I

Follow that link... the website might look scary but its ok trust me.

Then at the top right you'll see a countdown timer. Please wait ... You have to wait till thats over ~45 secs then there will be a link that pops up in the same spot, click that to download.

I would suggest right clicking and save target as...

I tried just directly uploading it to here but it didnt work... Its only about 2.5Megs...

i think it's pretty cool, no problem about too many steps that most people are complaining about. it gets rid of over turning the keys when trying to start and no more key jams! or problems when releasing anti-lock brakes

OK! But why have to stuck that matchbox to that hole? Rather keep it in the pocket and then push a button.

Overturning???

You gotta be kiddin'...

When you insert the key in your E60, turn it all the way and once you reach the endposition LET IT GO!

Your car starts automatically. This is the comfort start feature, has allways been there and works just perfect!
So in fact, we all have a engine start button allready, but ours is ONE STEP LESS!

The start/stop engine button is ONLY GOOD WITH COMFORT ACCESS.

Do the 2005 530i have this feature also about jut turning the key and letting go and the car will start instead of holding the key till the engines turns over and starts?

With automatic gearbox only (and? SMG). It would be pretty dangerous to have it with a manual gearbox. Imagine what would happend if you accedently started your car with gear in.

Yes all E60s should have it. Start Assist. Try it out.

No theres a safety feature... SMG wont let you start the car other than in Neutral and with the foot on the brake... with a true manual you can only start it with the clutch depressed... I understand in Europe you dont have to step on the clutch is that still true?
