hey guys,

just wondering if anyone knows of some good but not too expensive wiper blades.... mine are shot and make an awful sound everytime i activate them.
never replaced them on my 545i so not really sure... sounds like a dumb question but all comments are welcomed.

thanks in advance

I went to my local Auto Zone store and although they carried Bosch wiper blades, they told me there are not any available for my '06 530i. The store rep. even came out to the parking lot and looked at the blades. Said they actually had some in stock once but only for a couple of days before they were recalled from their corporate office...said the blades just weren't quite right yet.
So, since it's rainy and drizzling here in Chicago, I went to my local dealer and paid $60 bucks for a pair!!! Ouch. Would like to know if anyone can help with this question as well. Thanks!

I can't vouch for BMW - but I found replacement wiper blades for my wife's '07 MB in Walmart for less than $20.

I think you're going to have to go with a BMW supplied replacement/refill because the wipers look unlike anything I've seen in the usual auto parts stores. Many dealer parts places offer forum member discounts. Alternatively there are several BMW parts suppliers who are forum members who offer "special pricing" and may have OEM replacements for you. BTW, it's the blade assembly - not the entire wiper you're looking for.

Good luck and let us know what you wind up with and how much it costs you.

I recently purchased Rain X brand from Auto Zone for 40 pair and they are great no issue with them, cheaper then the dealer easy to install

Do they make any noise?? the reason im replacing mine is because they are really noisy... the rubber must be damaged

When they make noise, that means you need to replace them already. the rubber starts to wear off and when it gets to the end the rubber is harder for some reason I notice my old ones.

Well worth the price. I tried cheaper brands on my E46 and replaced them within a month thus costing me more than if I had bought a pair of OEMs in the first place. Live and learn.
