Thx for the pics. The interior looks new. The console looks like it comes from the E90. I wonder if their will be a sport button on the E60 as well 
, btw what will be the changes for the '08 e60 (new model or just detaills?)

Yes I like it as it is, same will be in new(er) E60 and possibly F10 so new the design is luxurious and not at all Mr. Spock, but ok we are all different. I am sure this will come out soon...Is that dash w alcantara?? At least a different material as now.

Shift is no biggie since it's for the auto. There isn't much in the way of interaction with it and as long as it's not on the column I'm okay with it. I do like how the screen seems to be better angled to the driver. Doesn't appear to clip the upper left hand corner from the driver seat anymore.

I love the leather in the first pics. Big improvement on what i already think is a lovely car. Not at all keen on the shifter. Looks Toyota'ish. I think they should have gone for the E60 M5 style shifter. But then what would thwey have put on the new M5. Decisions, Decisions

I have to say that this interior finally has BMW surpassing Audi IMHO.

My Ride: 2009 550i sports, Nav, logic Best E60 yet
2004 545i, sports pkg, logic 7 steptronic, rear shade,orient blue with beige interior, blue tooth enabled Razer Phone. 2004 X5 3.0, sports pkg, stepronic, summer pkg. imola red.
2006 Mini Cooper S, manual, sports, prem pkg, nav and kitchen sink.
This car is beautiful, I will be swapping my current X5 in for the new version, the inerior is right on except for the 3rd row seats, I will not own a car that can carry 3 rows of people, so I will not be ordering the 3rd row seat. BMW released their official phot's today but now word yet if they will be putting the turbo 6 in this car. 300hp would make this a great car. I like the looks of the shifter and admire BMW for thinking outside the box. GREAT JOB, I want one
