Yep, you're right Marc, I love the Z8 - it is one of the coolest BMW's ever!!! Also one of the rarest.

I've only seen one "in the wild" that I can remember. Other than that, only in dealerships, usually with velvet ropes around them.

I just realised that its the same for me -- I think I've only ever see 1 on the road and all others in showrooms or a museum. shame really, because its a beautiful car and has the fantastic E39 M5 V8 under the hood.

I've seen several of those here in Dallas, once at the BMW dealership
dropped off for service and a couple on the road. However they have
all been silver. For all I know it's probably the same car

That red looks smokin' hot!

The red is pretty damn nice, I think it was Imola red. It looks soo much deeper than in the pic.

Really? I actually like the back a lot, I think it's cool how it's fat but has slim taillights.
