No : a woman is not enough skilled with the steering and with the pedals to use properly a Mini : in many situations, I think my tuned MCS is faster than the tuned 545i . It could be an impression due to the supercharged engine and the low weight, but .. The impression still remains .

If you talk about Mini non-S instead .. I agree, a man cannot drive only 80-100 HP .

Exactly... the MCS is MUCH more of a car then what people give it credit for. Those who have never owned one dont know enough to say that its a girls car. the MINI will kick a lot of cars behind out there.

Maybe, most minis i see around here are the Mini One, and min cooper,

And once i saw the Mini BBR - 275bhp, it was at Epping Country Club a few weeks ago, that for sure i think was a mans car! First time i seen the BBR apart from Top Gears one on TV.

Come over here and say that, sunshine!

My new Cooper D is actually quite nippy (as much torque as an '08 MCS) and I'm thinking of chipping it to 140PS. Sometimes the fun is in having a great handling car with relatively limited power - the challenge of conserving momentum, like in a racer, and less likely to get speeding tickets, while still fun.

Anyway, I think the Cooper D looks slightly less "femme" than a standard Cooper or One, with the deeper chin intake for the intercooler.

I don't like it, because BMW has always had a more "Business-style". Mini had a more "Fun-style" instead.

So mixing "Fun"& "Business" does not work out in my opinion.

I think your Mini looks great.

I don't need to drive any particular car to let people know I'm a man.
