Yeah....it's a pity also what FIA did to the sport. ETCC was a much more fun to watch in those days, but with WTCC and the diesel Seats and other stuff, made it simply a regulation dictated sport, in which the winning is done not by the driver but by the teams and how well they apply the regulations to their cars.

Imagine factory teams having around 5 cars or more and when the runner up to the title drives in the last race, think how easy it is for the other team to send a non important driver touching the runner up, sending him into a spin and loosing the title. Bare in mind that soft contacts are allowed in this sport.
