My Ride: '04 545i, sport pkg, premium sound, sprint booster,
This morning I received an e-mail invitation from BMW CCA for the M Power tour coming through Dallas. Here is the info I received.
Here?s your chance to experience the high-performance drive of a lifetime - behind the wheel of the incredible 2009 M3. With its high-revving 414-hp engine, sport-tuned suspension and innovative M Double Clutch Transmission, the M3 is your key to the thrilling world of BMW?s racing heritage. And now, you're invited to pilot this powerful dream machine for yourself, courtesy of BMW?s complimentary M Power Tour street drive.
Put the M3 through its paces on a 25-minute street drive. Then check out the formidable M racecars on display, as well as the all-new X5 M and X6 M that meld M excitement with xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive. Participants must be 25 years or older. Spots are going fast, so reserve yours today by calling 1-866-900-4BMW.

Dates/Times:
6/11/2009 9:00am - 5:00pm
6/12/2009 9:00am - 3:00pm
Location:
Dallas
Cavanaugh Flight Museum
4572 Claire Chennault
Addison, TX 75001
Unfortunately with the date(s) being only a couple of days away, I was put on the stand by list.
Anybody had the chance to take the M3 for a spin doing this? Just curious.

BMW is always making these kinds of offers! Last month I received an email offering me a one year lease on the new electric Mini, so they could get some real world feedback on it. Same sort of thing, limited spaces, call soon etc. but at $850.00 a month, I decided I didn't need to blaze the electric trail for BMW, besides which, I still have my freakin' Mini "S" loaner car from April!! Good Luck with the waiting list, and if you DO get in, PIX, PIX, PIX!!
